POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for all marketing launches, social media accounts, search engine optimization, and marketing strategy. 

 

MAIN OBJECTIVES OF POSITION 

  

  • Overall management of company websites and social media platforms. 
  • Develop a strategy to execute and evaluate marketing and social media campaigns on all platforms. 
  • With a data-driven approach, optimize and maintain SEO across all channels (web, social, etc.) including but not limited to the following:  Ad campaign set up, tracking, and reporting. 
  • Updating ad work on Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Pinterest Ads, Display & Video and YouTube.    
  • Create and maintain full calendar for all marketing activities (primarily social) by brand. 
  • Plan all elements of and ensuring deadlines are adhered to on all sales and marketing events including client presentations, photoshoots and trunk shows. 
  • Manage all ‘press releases’. 
  • Create and manage relationships with relevant media outlets – magazines, blogs, influencers, social media divisions of each stockist to facilitate press releases and advertising. 
  • Lead weekly Marketing WIP meeting, including reporting and associated weekly forward workflow planning. 
  • Manage Social Media Team to maintain accountability of timelines and priorities while supporting the needs and development of each team member. 
  • Train and develop junior employees and track performance of direct reports.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of any new employees for the Social Media Team.   

RELATIONSHIPS & AUTHORITY 

Directly reports to Director of Design and Communication.

Direct reports include: 

Account Manager Brand 1

Account Manager Brand 2 

Functional relationship with the Design Team, External Relations, and Tech Team.

 

GENERAL/ADMINISTRATION 

 

 

From time to time you may be expected to carry out reasonable requests regarding responsibilities outside of this position description. 

 

HEALTH & SAFETY 

 

  • Undertake all work in a safe manner and follow all company and workplace health & safety procedures. 
  • Identify new hazards and advise your direct reports as soon as possible and within 24 hours of identification. 
  • Accurately report incidents and accidents as soon as possible to HR Manager.
